The Stardock developer is best known for creating software that allow the user to modify or extend a graphical user interface. I bring this up so that you will better understand where DirectSkin is coming from. This Stardock-developed software is meant to transform the way an application’s interface works – it gives software developers the tools they need to make an application skinnable.

DirectSkin works with the following 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft’s Windows operating system. The following Windows versions: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2008 R2. You can use the DirectSkin Demo on a PC powered by any of these Windows editions. The DirectSkin Demo allows you to access some sample projects and skins.

DirectSkin is meant to be used by developers, programmers, and experienced users who want to make an application skinnable. After integrating the DirectSkin OCX, developers, programmers or experienced users will be able to add skinning ability to the application. By doing so, they can make the application stand out – they can make the application look awesome.

DirectSkin is licensed by the size of the application’s deployment. Multiple deployment license tiers are available: 500 units, 1000 units, unlimited units. All deployment licenses include technical support.

If you are a developer, if you’re working on a software application, and if you want your software application to look great, you’re well advised to get DirectSkin. Thanks to DirectSkin you can make your application skinnable.
